• Thomas Kelton -- apparently born in Scotland, arrived in Massachusetts in 1652, with many descendants still living in New England. A major branch headed by Fernando Cortez Kelton lived in Columbus, Ohio. See also the story of Thomas and his family.

• James Kelton -- listed as born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1695. See also his story.

• Robert Kelton -- first known in Chester County, Pennsylvania, in 1724, moving later to North Carolina, with a large number of descendants today living in Tennessee and Texas. See also the story of Robert and his descendants, including William Kelton of Tennessee.
