The Billboard, Feb. 3, 1912, p. 28Kaleidoscopic Review of Amusement Events in Big American CitiesVANCOUVER, B.C.That theatregoers of this city know a good thing and respond to it is evidenced by the excellent business done at the Avenue Theatre by Del S. Lawrence and his capable company. They are now in their sixth week and are producing the latest New York and London successes in a manner that is seldom or ever surpassed by any of the travelling companies seen here. Miss Jane Kelton, leading lady of the Lawrence Players, underwent a serious operation last week and is now on the road to recovery. It will be several weeks before Miss Kelton will be able to take her place with the company.
