Dear Sir:
Yours of June 4, 1889 received. Contents noted.

I accept your proposition. My mother left no will. Please send power of attorney in blank for my signature and I will sign and return. Perhaps it would be better to inform me where the land lies. I might give you some information in reference to the matter.
